Nie je to "shader antialaising" - presne povedane, resolving je podla vsetkeho u R600 vykonavany pomocou shader ALUs.
Pradedko R600 je R400 (jeho uvedenie nebolo zrusene kvoli dovodom, ktore uviedla ATi, ale kvoli tomu, ze bol na danu dobu slaby z hladiska vykonu)Xenon napísal:Naco ten Tesselator je?

Kudos to AMD for jettisoning the Radeon X1000 series' lousy angle-dependent aniso for a higher quality default algorithm. I also happen to like the 2900 XT's custom tent filters for antialiasing an awful lot—an outcome I didn't expect, until I saw it in action for myself. Now I'm hooked, and I consider the Radeon HD's image quality to be second to none on the PC as a result. Nvidia may yet even the score with its own custom AA filters, though.
hardocp.comWhat we found in our testing of ATI’s current Narrow Tent and Wide Tent filtering options was that enabling them caused textures to become blurry. This was plainly evident in every game we played. You will notice in our highest playable gaming section we simply ignored using Narrow Tent and Wide Tent filtering and just tested with the standard Box Filter at 2X, 4X or 8X AA. As a gamer I don’t want to enable an option that ends up reducing the entire scene’s image quality in my game. The point of enabling higher AA levels is to improve image quality, not decrease it.
