KeD ta to naozaj tak trapi, tak si proste kup BOX s integrovanym chladicom a bude sa ti lepsie spat. Ale ak nebude zapnuty, to by si veru nezaspal. USB zariadenie by mali detekovat bezne softy, ktore detekuju aj IDE a SATA disky.

no to som myslel aj ja ale nie je to tak... jednoducho ked je SATA disk zapojeny cez UDB ziaden program ho nevie merat...

Ma kolmy zapis na platne a tym vyssiu hustotu zapisu na platnu (160GB/platnu ) a tym padom je o nieco rychlejsi ako rada KS

Prepac, ale mylis sa. Prvy a zatial jedinym HDD od WD s PMR je 750 GB HDD - WD7500AAKS.

What's new in HDDlife3?

Detailed SMART report.
With the suggestions of professional users taken into account, HDDlife 3.0 now has a new feature – detailed SMART information, which allows you to view detailed information about attributes. SMART monitors the main characteristics of the drive showing them in the form of numbers.

Support of USB hard drives.
Currently, USB hard drives are getting more and more popular. Speed, availability, ease of use, large amounts of information – all that takes you to a new level of mobile freedom and functionality. One of the new features in HDDlife version 3.0 allows you to control the performance of external drives, now the program supports USB. Now the program can work with drives from the largest Japanese IO-Data company and with Western Digital Passport drives. Starting from version 3.0, the list of supported USB drives will be enlarged. You can see the list of supported and unsupported drives on our site.

Indicating reading from/writing to the disk.
For maximum convenience, HDDlife 3.0 allows you to display the read/write indicator next to the system clock (in the system tray). Now you can always see the hard drive activity indicators.

HDDlife also comes with a gadget for Windows Sidebar that will display the information about the hard disk, including its temperature and health. It will also let you observe read/write operations of your drives at any time.
