Geras of War available for PC 6th November

According to the Microsoft release date list and various sources, the exclusive Xbox 360 title Gears of War will be available for PC on 6th of November.

It took them just under a year to get the PC version out, and Epic used that time to make five new singleplayer chapters, new multiplayer mode, new multiplayer maps, game editor, and the last battle with Brumak boss. If you followed the Xbox 360 version, the Brumak is the "big and ugly" rocket wielding dinosaur thing.

The graphics in Gears of War have never looked better than they do in the PC version, though that, of course, depends on your machine. If you can exceed the game's system requirements, the game looks pretty amazing at higher resolutions and delivers a good, smooth frame rate. It certainly looks much better and sharper than the Xbox 360 version of the game, and it does so without looking like the typical console-to-PC translation. The game also comes with a fully featured level editor, another thing you don't typically see in console-to-PC translations. Though some players may still prefer to play it with a gamepad, this feels like a PC game, top to bottom.

With a great loadout of weapons, a healthy multiplayer package, and an action-packed story mode, Gears of War is a terrific action game that, even after a full year, still stands apart from the pack. Whether you're a superfan of the first game who is looking for some additional content, or a PC buff who's been wondering what the console kids have been up to, Gears of War on the PC is most definitely worth your time and money.

Ak mam vyjadrit svoj nazor tak mi to je to jedno..
Hry moc nehravam ale ak tak nieco kde aj trosku pohnem mozgom,
a nie len strilat, a to plati aj o CS 1.6..(I love cs 1.6).

hra to uz niekto ? mam taky problem, ze ked strielaju viaceri alebo proste je viac zvukov naraz tak mi strasne "praska" zvuk(v inych hrach tento problem nemam)- integrovana zvukovka, zostava v podpise ma niekto podobny problem ?

Hravam to na LCD TV 1920x1080 vsetko max na zostave z podpisu.
Prilozim vecer niaky graf s FPS, ale hybe sa to az moc dobre... Len to ma zamknuty 60FPS storp

Hra ma zo zaciatku dost neoslovila, myslim tu uvodnu scenu kedy sa dostavate z vazenia, tam ta grafika nestoji za nic.

Akonahle sa dostavate von je ta hra uzasna. Velke otvorene prostredia, tajomne chramy, perfektne zvuky. System krytia a pouzivania prekazok a samozrejme plno akcie.

Jedine co mi vyrazne vadi je inteligencia/orientacia vasich spolubojovnikov v boji. Clovek musi opakovat misie len kvoli tomu ze jeden zo squadu zahynie. Obcas zase vypadne ich pohyb, ovladannie squadu tiez nieje nic uzasne, skor pre mna nepotrebna vec.

Pribeh je vsak spracovany perfektne a filmove in game sekvencie si zasluzia ozaj pochvalu. Roznorodost prostredia i misii je tiez vynikajuca.

Urcite odporucam avsak kvoli chybam zo squadom si treba pripravit aj pevne nervy....

Skusal som to,ale seka mi to lebo swapuje mi furt disk kurna, pri tom fps ide dobre... ze by defrag? Nemate podobny problem?
