ja som mal nvidiu doteraz a mal som kopu problemov s ovladacmi a to nevravim ze nvidia vydava ovladace skoro kazdy tyzden.
Spotrebu ma nizsiu radeo 4870. Ak si to nevies urobit tak toto forum sa vola pretaktovanie.

Nikto nehovori ze niektore cipy jadra g200 sa prehrievaju az na 105C na jadre .... ale kazdy spomina 4870 a prehrievanie . Za 500 sk je accelero co je cenovy rozdiel medzi nimi. Ja sam uvazujem nad accelerom.Teraz mam teplotu v klude 50 C. Co vobec nie je zle.

Cakam kedy vide novy bios na 4870 kde sa znizia tie takty a gtx 260 nebude ani rec a staci este aby vysli hry na dx10,1 tak g200 sa zakope pod zem.

_myslim ze na dX 10.1 by robyl hry len blazon , tych hier bude urcite velmi malo ,myslim ze NVidia sa uz pripravuje na DX 11 _
//este nieco ohlodom toho vykonu , v tych testoch na pc tuning vyhrava tusim HD4870 o 2% (ci tak nejak) , lenze tam je GTX 260 TOP , a nejaka HD4870 pretaktovana na maximum (takze oc potencial HD4870 vyuzili na 100 % ) ale GTX 260 by este isla dotaktovat , nebola taktovana a tak jej potencial nebol vyuzity ...(neviem preco to tam tak blbo spravyli ze isli podla MHZ , ved vykon je predsa dvolezity a nie pretaktovat jednu kartu na maximum (HD4870) a druhu (GTX 260 ) ale na 80 % , takze keby dotaktovali tu GTX 260 na maximum tak si myslim ze ,by to bolo vyrovnane az by nebola GTX 260 lepsia _
preto nikto nehovori ze chipy na GTX26/280 maju na GPU 105 °C lebo tolko nemaju ,,
ale nvidia ma tych softwarovych problemov (vratane SLI/CF) niekolko nasobne menej nez ATi _
a ked vydaju tu novu GTX 260 s(216 sp) tak hned bude jasnejsie ze vytaz je GTX 260 (vo vecsine hier , teraz je to asi take vyrovnane )

praveze naopak s tymi ovladacmi

no ale ked hovoris ze na vystu su dobre AMD/ATi graficke karty tak si nejaku kup a podme si zahrat vystu
podla mna je to ai nejak takto dam body : one GPU multi GPU

no niekedy sa natrafi na velmi dobry kusok ako som pisaol 900mhz na jadre aj ta gtx260.
na 8600 gt som mal bioshock problem rozbehat co mi stale zamrzal tak mi nic nevravte na temu bioshock.

idem dnes skusit este nove 8,9 beta tak osm zvedavy. Vykon vzrastol znova.

pytam sa kvoli tomu ci tym turbom sa nestraca zaruka a aj kvoli chladeniu

tu od gainwardu nedavno testovala fudzilla :
Idle temperatures are around 46°C, whereas maximum temperatures are around 62°C. Turbo mode results in almost the same temperatures – give or take a couple of °C.

If you want to further overclock the card, you can increase the GPU fan’s RPM to maximum 2408 RPM. While running at maximum speeds, the cooler kept the core temperatures under 50°C, whereas idle mode will result in temperatures of only 36°C. These helped us in overclocking the core all the way up to 826MHz and the memory to 1100MHz.
Gainward tried really hard to freshen up their ATI line of graphics cards with an interesting non-reference HD 4870. Due to non-reference cooling, higher speeds and twin BIOS, which you don’t see every day, Gainward’s Radeon HD 4870 Golden Sample definitely deserved the title “Golden.”

The card comes with a dual-slot, twin-fan cooler keeping the temperatures very low, but it’s unfortunate that the loudness levels couldn’t be kept in check, too. The core and the memory on this card are overclocked and this card’s two BIOSes are really a unique feature. Still, the difference between these two BIOS modes is not that significant. In order to load the new BIOS you’ll have to restart your system, which is not quite practical.

DisplayPort and a BIOS switch are featured on this card’s I/O panel. In the box, you’ll also find an HDMI adapter, so we can say that Gainward didn’t skimp on accessories. Another good side of this card is the large cooler, which in turn enables for further overclocking without having to worry about temperatures. The only down side is somewhat loud operation in idle mode, but given the excellent price of this card, we simply have to award and recommend this card.

After all, it does bring DisplayPort, dual BIOS and an overclocked core and memory, priced at only €15 more than the reference card.

Pozor jedná sa o OC verziu, normálna bude mať ešte mizernejší výkon
Tá nakladačka, ktorú dostala GTX 260 proste fascinujúca, ten radeon snáď dá v min fps aj GTX280

no tak vidite co robia nove ovladace , vcera som namontoval accelero 465 sk , a teploty su paradne oc tak 870/1100 avsak pri tychto taktoch uz treba aj slusne chladit.

myslel som, že 4870 nepôjdu tak vysoko (vzhľadom na slabý OC 4850) ale s dobrým chladením je to perfektné (a vraj je len GTX260 oc friendly )

slaby OC 4850 ? vsak co som videl mnohi daju na jadre 750 mhz.

vsledky z OC 4870 870/900 mhz pamate som nepretaktoval !

btw. nejak ti klesol výkon napriek tomu , že GPU beží o 40MHz rýchlejšie

v benchmark sekcii akurat mirke postoval vysledok z OC GTX280 a bol na tom podobne ako ty , len s tym rozdielom ze tam to bolo na High DX9 1680x1050 , teda suma sumárum mi vychodí výkonovo lepšie tento radeon dokonca aj ako Gtx280
