zvuk je hnany cez nejaky soft. kompresor a teda uprimne,nic horsie som nepocul v zivote
The card however seems to have a different issue through optical. Music whether it be on YouTube or Winamp sounds 'Shaky' or like the volume is adjusting, it sounds sort of compressed. The volume within programs on this card does not change until it is turned below 25% then a volume difference is noticeable. The sound at 100% is horrendous, the sound at 15% sounds fine. When an EQ is added to the mix the card suffers even more, having to be brought down to 10% in apps to get rid of the "Shaky" sound... I'm thinking of just getting another sound card but interestingly, the old soundcard had this exact issue except when the master volume was adjusted to 25% it fixed it, however individual apps have to be altered on this one, is this a thing with Asus cards? I will post a link of the UI.
I just want the card to adjust linearly so 100% is 100% and 50% sounds half of that. I think that would solve the issue. However the shaky sound really sounds awful and it is really hard to describe... Any insight or time taken to assist me with this issue would be appreciated

ja ti pisem ze ten ekvalizer je super, nemusis sa obmedzovat ked budes teraz menit zvukovku a ty mi tu zacnes opakovat, ze si zle kupil..
skor bud rad, ze ju vratis a budes mat za 2/3 ceny lepsi sound

Per to mas tak mi ti radime co mas kupit, aj tak si vzdy spravíš po svojom, tak teraz mozes len vyplakavat, andrej správ nove vlakno na ten eq, budem rad
Nevyplakavam. Pisem skusenost,aby niekto nabudúce vedel do čoho ísť. Tu kartu mi poradili,takže to co tvrdis,že vždy kúpim niečo iné ako mi tu radia je tiež pekne mimo. Objednal som SB Z. Mrzí ma len to,že budem musieť tovar vrátiť,čo pre obchod nie je bohvie čo.
andrejsvk --> Ak sa ti chce, sprav navod. Ja som to chcel pouzivat kvoli ekvalizacii pri filmoch, ale konecne je DSP aj v Kodi.tv, tak zatial pouzivam to a vo Foobar-e Konvolver plugin (uplny ideal). Snad casom nejaka dobra dusa spravi Konvolver aj pre Kodi.tv. To by bola bomba.
Nechcem zakladať novú tému, keďže táto je veľmi podobná a mám skoro ten istý problém, že akú zvukovku kúpiť na také klasické obyčajné repro. Vidím, že sa tu ujal SB Z ale ja by som radšej 7.1 kanálovu zvukovku, tak ktorú by ste odporúčili, keďže ako vidím ten Asus STRIX nič moc. Mňa zaujali tieto, len neviem ako sú na tom navzájom kvalitatívne:
- ASUS Xonar U7
- ASUS Xonar D1 resp. ASUS Xonar DX/XD
- ASUS Xonar Phoebus Solo
- ASUS Xonar D2/PM (síce trošku starší ale mal dobré ohlasy)
,ale s pouzitim izlolatora zemnej slucky,su pazvuky prec 
ale mozno len pocujem lepsie tu blbu kompresiu co sa pouziva dnes vsade
