Here’s how Visual Studio Community can be used in organizations:
An unlimited number of users within an organization can use Visual Studio Community for the following scenarios: in a classroom learning environment, for academic research, or for contributing to open source projects.
For all other usage scenarios: In non-enterprise organizations, up to 5 users can use Visual Studio Community. In enterprise organizations (meaning those with >250 PCs or > $1MM in annual revenue), no use is permitted beyond the open source, academic research, and classroom learning environment scenarios described above.

No je to super, ze MS dava takto nastroje zadarmo. Clovek sa moze zacat hrat s vyvojom aplikacii bez investicii.

Nuz ale odteraz to nema zmysel riesit . Prakticky jedine obmedzenie je to, ze aby to na vyvoj nepouzivali firmy s viac nez 5 vyvojarmi pracujucimi s Visual Studiom. Vsetci ostatni takto dostanu plnohodnotne Visual Studio zadarmo.

zadarmo bola vzdy dost orezana Express edicia...a mozno nedovolovala komercne pouzitie, to neviem.

express ti dovoloval vsetko, pamatam ako som to pred par rokmi riesil na fore, mi tam ludia vysvetlovali, ze ak nepracujem vo firme s niekolkymi ludmi na 1 projekte tak express staci, professional a business su zamerane na teamy, zatial co express skor na jednotlivca... a ano, aj na komercne pouzitie

Visual Studio Professional bola "zadarmo" iba pre studentov cez programy vysokych skol.

Visual Studio Express bolo sice pouzitelne, ale malo to svoje obmedzenia, kopec addonov (aj free) kvoli tymto obmedzeniam nefungovalo.

Presne preto je dobra tato Community verzia, kedze je to fakt to iste ako Professional verzia, rozdiel je iba v licencovani.

Community moze pouzivat aj firma s viacerymi zamestnancami, dolezite je iba to, ze naraz na jednom projekte mozu robit iba piati.
Dalo by sa to asi "osefovat" aj pre viac ludi, ale v takom pripade uz asi ide o projekt, kde aj ta financna stranka je niekde inde...

Edit: Tak som si to este raz pozrel na MS stranke, firma to moze vyuzivat v podstate iba na vyucbu a open-source...
BTW, cena Professional zacina na 300USD, urcite sa daju vybavit aj nejake mnozstevne zlavy, to pre firmu s viacerymi zamestancami nie je likvidacna cena. Najma ak ma zakazky.
