GTX970 - nejde DP ani HDMI

Mam taky problem: zohnal som si tu z bazaru monitor Dell U2711 2560x1440. stary monitor som mal pripojeny cez DVI, ale ten mi nejde cez take rozlisenie. snazil som sa pripojit DP aj HDMI, ale monitor neukazuje signal. ani pocas biosu, ani vo windowse, ani v linuxe. ine zariadenia pripojene cez displayport (notebook) a HDMI (tablet) idu, len GTX970 nie... mate nejaky napad co s tym?

ovladace mam najnovsie 361.75, ale nemyslim si ze problem bude v tom, ked mi to nejde ani pocas bootu ani v linuxe. ale hocico nastavim vo windowse, na obrazovke mi ukazuje vstupne rozlisenie 1280x1440. a ked nastavim hocijake rozlisenie na nvidia control panely tak je obraz necitatelny. v linuxe sa mi podarilo nastavit realne full HD, to bolo ako tak pozeratelne.

inac displayport mi nejde ani starom monitore. v nvidia control panely nejde ani zapnut, a v control panely windows ked to aplikujem tak mi hodi chybu...

nastavenia monitora boli nejaky dp1.1/1.4? hdmi tiez lacny kabel ani tuk..k tomu sa pridal lacny kabel:) riesenie som kupil kvalitnejsi dp kabel priamo pre 4K/60hz a ficalo to bez toho ani obraz ani zvuk... skus fakt kabel,niektore su proste smejdaky

ale hovorim ze displayport mi nejde ani na predchadzajucom monitore 1680x1050. predtym som to nikdy neskusal, vzdy som mal grafiku pripojenu cez DVI a DP som pouzival pre pripojenie notebooku. DP output neviem zapnut ani v linuxe, vypisal mi toto:

na HDMI mi dovoli nastavit rozlisenie len 1920x1080 a tiez ziadny obraz. chapal by som kebyze kvoli kablu nesli vyssie rozlisenia, ale zakldny musi ist.

zajtra skusim pohladat iny DP kabel, ale nerobim si velke nadeje.

ak je problem v grafike mam reklamovat? myslite ze mi prejde? moze to byt nieco aj s chipsetom apod, tak neviem ako teraz.

Mne DP pri bootovani nikde nejde..... a cez HDMI mi nepretlaci 2K, neviem ci je to vobec mozne...

Ak nie je pokazeny prevodnik alebo zhodou okolnosti oba konektory, HDMI musi plut obraz...

ved to, ja som tiez googlil predtym ako som postol. preto som skepticky ci by presla RMA.

kable si skusal rozne? Musi byt VESA kompatibilny, teda plne zapojeny 20-pinovy..

Grafiku mas aku? BIOS je tam najnovsi?

neviem ci teraz netresnem blbost, ale cez HDMI ja uz dva roky tlacim 4K. Sice nie na 60Hz a nie v takej suvislosti ako tu spominate, ale proste a jednoducho mam zapojeny 40" 3840x2160 TV na notebook cez HDMI (v1.4a jestli se nepletu) a svieti a svieti a svieti kazdy den.

Takze ak sa bavime generalne, 2K cez HDMI rozhodne pretlacime.

Záleží od verzie HDMI... u mna to ani za ***** nešlo a skúšal som dvojicu káblov a nie lacných ...

Na mojej karte to proste nešlo a to mám iba metrový a dvojmetrový kabel..

Zase, da sa pozerat na menej nez 60Hz?

EDIT: Zabudol som dodat, ze monitor mal len HDMI 1.3...
K tomu DELLu, na webe som nasiel, ze: "Dell has stated in its documentation that the maximum possible resolution via HDMI is 1080p"... Aj ked niektorym sa custom res. podarilo pretlacit 2K/60Hz. A aj tu sa specs lisia, niekde uvadzaju 1.3 a niekde 1.4..

teraz som prehodil DP kabel na ten ktory mi 3 roky fungoval s HD5770 a tiez nemam signal a neviem ani vo win prepnut vystup na DP (a som na povodnom monitore). je mozne ze GTX970 vyzaduje DP min. 1.2?
ale prakticky je mi jedno, ak mi to pojde s dual-link DVI tak nemam problem, realne aj tak je to jedine pripojenie ktore mozem pouzivat, kedze k monitoru potrebujem pripajat aj ine zariadenia.

zapojit hocijaky monitor cez hdmi, sucasne zapojit tvoj dell novy cez DP /fakt skus najskor lepsi kabel... samozrejme mat obraz aby si videl co sa deje vo wine a pozriet pripojene zariadenia,ci vlastne win a gpu detekuju nejaky monitor pripojeny cez DP, tym by sme mozno zistili,ze vystup monas zly neni,ale je to len otazka nejakeho kablu resp nastaveni monitoru, alebo softu...
