We told you yesterday about Kingpin's crusade on 100k in 3DMark 03, if you missed it you can read it here. Yesterday, we also wrote that he is getting close and that he will surely get over 100k soon, and now just one day later, he nailed it.
He did it with two Geforce Ultra's and an Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 processor. The only change is that today processor was overclocked a bit further from 5.04GHz to 5.2GHz. The 8800 Ultra's were clocked at 985 MHz for the GPU and 2486MHz for the memory when he finally reached 100,089 3DMark points. As Kingpin says :"Can go so much higher still it's crazy.".
The graphics cards were running at 950MHz core and 980MHz memory speed. The processor, an Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800, was pushed to 5304,7MHz (442x12), and cooled with LN2. All that was done on Abit AW9D-MAX motherboard, paired with 2048MB of memory running at 1:1 3-3-3-4.
