Nenasiel este nikto nejaky test novych catalyst 7.5 ovladacov, lebo nato som cakal,aby som sa rozhodol ci kupit tu grafiku alebo nie. Este 1 otazocka trosku mimo: JE 1280x1024 to iste ako 1440x900? dokonca ked som to vynasobil dostal som menej pixlov pri wide, takze mi bude stacit 8800 320MB, lebo 640MB asi nevyuzijem. Hovorim spravne?

Radeon HD 2900 XT 1GB GDDR4

Tweaktown reported that 1024 MB GDDR4 Radeon HD 2900 XT is just around the corner, shortly after that Coolaler.com forum member showed few pictures of it.


The card is the same size as 512MB version, 9-inch card. It has 16 memory chips, eight on the front and eight on the back, Samsung memory chips that are rated at 0.9ns, which should theoretically give 1,111MHz. The "guess2098" Coolaler.com forum member managed to overclock it from default 743MHz to 858MHz for the core and from 1000MHz to 1153MHz for memory.

Some 3DMark results are posted, and the system used is "Core 2 Extreme Kenstfield Q6850 at 4GHz, Asus P5K-D, GSKILL 2GBHZ at 1000 CL4, TT 1200W PSU, TR 120-X".

V tej tabulke je jedna a ta ista karta (HD2900XT 1GB), len v druhom pripade je pretaktovana. Asi si si to zle pozrel

Doplnam ze HD2900XT 512MB ma v 2005-ke cca 18000b na C2DX6800

Computex 07: There is no 65 nm R600

We learned a disturbing bit of news and that is that all the information about the 65 nanometre part, including the “leaks within AMD”, were false.

AMD wants to find some high profile mole(s) and deliberately planted these two codenames and a chip specification.

Fudzilla has seen these documents and can confirm that there were at least a few mentions of R650 or R670, but I have to dissapoint you all, as it is not real.

R600 is the best you will see from ATI until Christmas and you will have to find your peace with it.

However, the RV670 exists.

Ruby's latest adventure takes place in a rugged, mountainous terrain where her skills as a snowboarder are tested and may just save her life. This fast paced, action packed demo exploits the power of the ATI Radeon HD 2900XT to create a rich and expansive landscape of snow, rock, and ice. From the procedural snow accumulation on the harsh terrain to the wrinkles on Ruby's brow and the physics that drive each strand of fur on Ruby's fur collar, the ATI Radeon HD 2900XT can handle it all.

In order to create an expressive, compelling character our artists constructed 128 morph targets to drive Ruby's facial rig. All of these facial "poses" are combined using the GPU to create Ruby's final look. Ruby also uses a number of animated wrinkle maps to add additional subtle expressiveness to her brow, eyes, mouth and chin. High dynamic range imaging techniques are used through out the Whiteout demo to account for the brightest of outdoor environments as well as the darkest depths of Ruby's icy head quarters. Advanced light scattering techniques are employed to faithfully reproduce the complex interactions of light with snow and ice
