Layout and equipment
In place of a Heatpipe cooling Asus uses a large aluminum block for the Northbridge. That is sufficient for the P35-Chip perfectly, it becomes in our stability examination only 47.1 degrees Celsius warmly. The potential transformers with the CCU and the Southbridge are cooled likewise separately. A characteristic of the plate is right beside the base. There sits the EPU chip, which is used also with the more expensive Asus plates P5E3 Deluxe Wifi AP @n and Maximus Formula Special edition (both tested in expenditure 12/2007) for more than 200 euro. ahojte viete mi dakto poradit ci mi pojde tato doska aj so zdrojom co ma len 2Opin a 4pin konektor na zdroji? Mam totiz enermax a nema este ten 24 pinovy konektor. Doska na AM2 aj socket 939 mi sla ale o tejto neviem diki za odpoved

takze kupil som si tu P5K pro, je to namakana doska ale bacha na chladice. napr moj freezer 7 pro som musel otocit o 90 stupnov teda vrtulou dolu. inac nemam ziadne vyhrady

zavadzia tam ten chladic co je na northbridge, je moc vysoky. ale dalo by sa to spravit tak ze by si ten ramik s ventilatorom dal o 2-3 rebra vyzsie a tie rebra podnim ohol. je to fakt ze par mm asik tak 2-3

Ja som prave vcera si skladal pocitac s P5K Pro a AC Freezer 7 Pro. Chladic sa zmestil bez ohybania cohokolvek, akurat ramik s ventilatorom som musel posunut o 1 rebierko hore, co nie je ziaden problem. Akurat kabel k napajaniu ventilatora je dost kratky, tak som ho musel ciastocne uvolnit zo zliabku.
