AMD novinky-nejen CPU divize

Chcem sa spýtať na procesor AMD E450 ktorý dávajú do lacných ntb...Chcem sestre niečo takéto kúpiť ale neviem nemám s tým skúsenosti a neviem či je to dobrá voľba...Schválne som to nedal do NP, lebo mi skôr ide o tento konktrétny typ a o nejaké tie reči okolo neho, či nieje varený pečený u reklamácií a pod.
Ide mi o tom aby to zvládalo fullHD video (žiadny prevratný dátový tok) a aby zvládlo s podporou grafiky (7470M) aj nejaké tie staršie nenáročné hry. Žiadny naročné app sa nebudú konať...len bruzdanie po webe, filmy a možno nejaký The sims a pod.

Samozrejme niečo som skúšal nájsť ale veľmi strohé info a testy, skúsenosti takmer žiadne.

na nativní rozlišení to je a na starší hry, nové to pochopitelně nedává až na výjimky s low detaily...Akcelerace OK, navíc většinu videa ti dnes akceleruje právě to grafické jádro. Takže jako levnej notas/netbook pro nenáročné používání je to OK

Ked uz nieco nabehne, tak to ide (OS, hra, prehliadac a pod.), ale tie cakacie doby su na moj vkus sialene a to nie som moc narocny. Ja mam podtaktovany AII X2 na 1GHz a netbook s E350 je oproti tomu slimak. By som povedal, ze vykon to ma jak 2x atom a to je fakt na maslu. Ale syn na tom hraval WOW, GTA SA aj Stalkera.
Ved si vyhladaj, na youtube je plno videi z hier. Nazov netbooku gaming a uvidis sam, co sa da od toho cakat.

Apart from price cuts, there hasn't been much in the way of good news on the AMD processor front lately. As any enthusiast grappling with which card to buy will tell you, the Radeon maker is much more competitive in the graphics arena. Jon Peddie Research's market share numbers concur, and they say AMD took market share from Nvidia last quarter. Radeons made up 40.3% of discrete graphics shipments, up from 37.8% last quarter. Meanwhile, GeForce cards saw their market share drop from 61.9% to 59.3%.

You'll notice the numbers don't add up to 100% exactly. S3 and Matrox are still shipping graphics cards, though even combined, they make up just 0.4% of the market.

The real action is between the big dogs. JPR credits the early introduction of the Radeon HD 7000 series, coupled with Nvidia's initial Kepler supply issues, for the shift in market share between the two. If you look at the numbers from last year, the relative positions are similar. In the second quarter of 2011, AMD had 41.2% of the pie, while Nvidia's market share was 58.4%.

As a whole, the graphics card market declined 7% from this quarter last year. JPR won't weigh in on whether that trend will continue, citing uncertainties associated with "world-wide economic conditions," but it does note that AMD's A-series APUs are replacing budget add-in cards. Intel's ever-improving HD Graphics implementations are likely lessening demand for low-end discrete cards, too. With desktop Trinity chips flexing faster integrated Radeons just around the corner, the trend would seem to be toward slow erosion from the bottom up. That's not necessarily a bad thing for consumers, since it means the baseline quality of "free" integrated graphics is rising.

vzal byhc rozhodně už Trinity, má skvělou výdrž na baterku a grafický výkon v pohodě. Ideálně něco kolem A8-4600m.

Ja už sa v tej AMD politike zamotávam
Dúfam že sa za pár rokov kompletne neutiahne len do serverových CPU...Mám síce Intel, ale srdcom som AMDčkar

Presiel som cez 4 AMDcka a nikdy nebol problem.. Zial po rokoch som sa vratil k INTEL-u..rovno na dve i v PC v notebooku...

With gamers getting antsy for next-generation consoles, VG247 is reporting that development kits for Sony’s (SNE) PlayStation 4 (code-named “Orbis”) have already been sent out to developers. VG247′s sources claim there are four versions of the dev kit and the one just shipped out is a “modified PC” based on AMD’s (AMD) A10 APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) that combines a CPU and GPU on a single chip to run games in 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second in 3D without any slowdown. Dev kits are said to have between 8GB and 16GB of RAM, 256GB of storage (it’s not clear if that’s SSD or a hard drive), an optical drive for Blu-ray playback and all the standard inputs/outputs found on the PlayStation 3 including HDMI, Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
