X1950Pro + DirectX Video Acceleration

Mam kartu od Sapphire 1950Pro 512MB AGPx8, ale zatial sa mi na nej nepodarilo rozbehat hw akceleraciu HD videa.. Skusal som PowerDVD 7.4, Windows media player 11 + hd.264 cybelink player, ale zataz procesora mi ide stale ku 100%. Mam tam Catalysty 7.10. Any idea?

Otazka je, ci to vobec R1950 vie HW akcelerovat. AVIVO maju tusim len radeony HD 2xxx, ale niesom si isty.

Symptoms:
On AGP versions of the above mentioned graphics cards the Hardware Acceleration does not get enabled. High CPU usage, stuttering HD playback or even system crash are expected behaviours, although DXVA (DirectX Video Acceleration) is enabled by the application.

Solution:
The root cause of the problem has been identified and a resolution will be available soon. The Catalyst 7.12 is the anticipated driver version to resolve this issue.

mozno to catalyst 7.12 umozni,treba to odskusat,je to zatial novy ovladac,vseobecne vsade,kde bol integrovany cyberlink/ateme/dicas avc/h264/vc-1 kodek,automaticky sa zablokovala hw akceleracia bez pci express vga karty a bez dual core procesora,bolo by to dobre,pokial by to novy catalyst umoznil akcelerovat aj na agp platforme

Nasiel som nejaku odpoved od ATI na problemy s AGP kartami:

Sir, As AGP became obsolete (due to the PCI-e card), the driver supporting AGP will be update 4 times a year (every 3 months). To be honest, it was said that the 7.11 should suport AGP, and it hasn't, so I can't tell you for sure if the next catalyst, 7.12, will support AGP, even if it should. The company policy, though, is to keep supporting it, on a 3months basis. Thanks & regards
