Pod win XP32bit je hack veľmi jednoduchý:
1. stiahnuť SLI string installer (2.0) z odkazu hore
2. stiahnuť a nainštalovať upravené FW 190.62 (odkaz hore), resp. stiahnuť 190.62 a upraviť si ich sám
3. spustiť SLI string installer (vybrať Gigabyte, nie ASUS ako všade píšu ... z ASUS to nefungovalo)
4. reštart a SLI je hotové
Pod win 7 64bit bola inštalácia trošku zložitejšia (zdroj: techpowerup!)

I just did a clean OS install, this was what I had to do:
Motherboard DFI LP DK 790FXB-M2RSH (0820a)
Graphics 2 x ASUS 9800GT
OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64
1 - Install Win7 x64.
2 - Install System and 190.62 Win7 x64 (WHQL) drivers.
3 - Disable UAC.
4 - Restart.
5 - Run SLI string installer as Admin select ASUS certificate.

"lacné zvšenie výkonu" - cena GTX260 v bazare cca 110e (dve tieto grafiky sú +/- na úrovni HD5870)
nevýhody:
požiadvky na zdroj (650W min)
SLI mostik (nie je nutnosť ale zvyšuje výkon)
nie vždy SLI funguje tak ako by malo
treba vysoký výkon CPU
zatiaľ funguje len s 190.62 (195.xx s 32bit XP a win Vista/7)
skúsenosti z praxe, ďalšie kroky:
Mam taky pocit, ze funguje len s 3D markom vantage, Crysis a Stalker... (teda len hry najdene v mojom PC ovladacmi nvidia... ako je to mozne, ze len tieto...co ostatne?...)
Napr. NFS shift, COD MW, WiC idu snad este horsie +/- (mam stiahnute SLI profili z nvidia.com)
batman: arkham asylum - z SLI este horsie nez na single grafike (+jedna dedikovana na physX)
SLI indicator funguje, ale co na tom, ked SLI je horsie nez single gpu...
Zeby bol C2D E6750 @3.2Ghz tak slaby cpu? nezda sa mi. Rozlisenie 1920x1200/16xAF, 4xAA+ teda tu by grafiky nemali byt limitovane...
Zatial je SLI celkom sklamanie...este skusim grafiky prehodit na i5 @4ghz... (na x38 ma limituju ovladace)
btw: myslite, ze by bolo mozne na doske Asus P7P55D pro rozbehat 3 way SLI? Doska ma 3 PCI-e 16 sloty (islo by to ale 8+8+4).
3x GTX260 je k dispozicii (aj ked odlisne - co by nemal byt problem). Jediny problem je v tom, ze mam len jeden SLI mostik (ale fungovat by to malo aj bez neho).
850W zdroj je snad ok
